The purpose of this project was to design a psychoeducational support group for foster parents, identify a potential funding source, and complete a grant to fund the program. The goal of the psychoeducational support group is to assist foster parents in developing skills to deal with children's behavior and emotional problems and cope with stress. After searching for potential funding sources, the Ahmanson Foundation was selected as the best funding source for this project. A grant was written to fund and support the psychoeducational support group. The actual submission of the grant was not required for the completion of this project.
