Abstract (Summary)

There is currently a lack of web-based instructional material dealing with the subjects of trans-tibial amputee gait deviations, trans-femoral amputee gait deviations, and non-pathological gait. The purpose of this project was to create a multimedia based instructional website for use by Prosthetists and other Allied Health professionals. By incorporating material in both video and still image format the website provides a significant improvement over the existing information available in texts covering these topics. The final product consists of three different learning modules dealing with each of the areas previously mentioned. By providing technically accurate information in a variety of visually oriented formats the website will provide both students and current professionals in the field with a practically applicable learning experience.
