To recognize Wieniawski as a successful violinist and composer is just the beginning of his biography as well as the biographies of other prodigies who continue on to successful careers in music. In this paper, the lives of child prodigies, including Wieniawski, are explored in a discussion of the factors that encourage or discourage their development, as well as how their upbringings affect their transitions from childhood to adulthood.
