Spirituality and life satisfaction of people with multiple sclerosis

Abstract (Summary)

Using a qualitative approach, the purpose of this study was to identify themes of Multiple Sclerosis Society members because it is important to understand their needs and attitudes, as well as the effect that spirituality has on their lives. The study focuses on spirituality and life satisfaction. Through in-depth, descriptive, face-to-face interviews the study identified themes for the three research questions presented. With these themes the researcher developed a grounded theory model of spirituality and life satisfaction for people living with Multiple Sclerosis.
