Dissertation/Thesis Abstract

Cipher

Abstract (Summary)

My studio art practice explores the sedimentation and erosion of identity. The effort, driven by interpretive operations in the tradition of the informé, reflects a belief that an active void is at the center of matter and experience. Selected sculptures and installations completed in my final year of graduate study were included in an exhibition entitled Cipher.
