The purpose of this project was to design a post-adoption program for families who have adopted children from the child welfare system. This project required identification of a potential funding source and completion of a grant application to fund the program at A New Beginning Foster Family Agent in the city of Hesperia, California. The goal of the proposed program is to decrease the possibility of adoption disruption by providing both generalized and clinical post-adoption services to families served by A New Beginning Foster Family Agency. Variety Children's Charity was identified as a potential funding source for this project. The actual submission and/or funding of this grant was not a requirement for the successful completion of the project.
