Abstract (Summary)

The purpose of this project was to write a grant proposal and identify funding sources for designing an integrated treatment program for individuals with cooccurring mental health and substance use disorders. The grant will be used to educate and provide mental health services to potential clients in Los Angeles County. A literature review was conducted in order to research and investigate the best way to assist and educate clients on the risk factors associated with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The grant source chosen was the California Wellness Foundation. Securing the grant was not a thesis requirement.
