The purpose of this project was to identify potential funding sources, develop a program, and write a grant to fund a Comprehensive Skills Program for pregnant teens/teenage mothers. The anticipated program will include various psycho-educational learning tools such as education, experiential activities, and sharing resources. The program will be composed of nine sessions, which will include expert presentation, nutrition, resources, healthy relationships, coping skills to healthy sexuality, and postpartum depression. The Comprehensive Skills Program will be a school-based program for adolescent mothers with social and/or emotional challenges, delinquency, and lack of support. The actual submission and/or funding of this grant were not requirements for the successful completion of this project.
