Dissertation/Thesis Abstract

Man Made
by Pedroza, Ya'el, M.F.A., California State University, Long Beach, 2010, 5; 1481631
Abstract (Summary)

This M.F.A. exhibition was inspired by my love of nature and my observations of how man's involvement and interference has caused us many dilemmas. Whether discussing issues of genetic manipulation or human refuse, the common idea that connects all the work together is the actions of man and the imprint that we leave behind. Each piece consists of imagined metaphors, which are reflections of what possibilities may exist in the future if our natural world is left to human abandon.
