Abstract (Summary)

The purpose of this curriculum was to prepare a formal training for new and current employees about stress management and self-care strategies. The curriculum addresses burnout, work stress, retention, coping strategies and learning strategies. This training is targeted for Orange County Dependency Investigations Senior Social Workers and child welfare workers. Within the 1-day orientation, it incorporates day-to-day stress management techniques and how to be aware of burnout.
