Abstract (Summary)

Expression of a maternal mRNA, G10, was found up-regulated in stellate cells from cirrhotic livers. In this study, we investigated some of the features of G10 mRNA and protein as well as the effect of the fibrogenic cytokine, TGF β, on the expression and regulation of G10.
