Abstract (Summary)

An exploration of the state of mobile phone development in relation to improving children's fitness and education technologies. A mobile game, PhoneTag, was developed with the purpose of building a simple framework that could be easily expanded to other educational purposes. PhoneTag encourages children to explore their surroundings in a recreational setting, thereby improving physical health in a fun way, with a myriad of possibilities for the future.
