The proposed project was created for Latino caregivers to increase knowledge about Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders (ADRD) and available local community resources. Outreach efforts to the Latino community will be provided as part of this 1-year project. The project is designed to provide educational workshops about ADRD topics, respite, and referrals to caregiver support groups. The host agency for this project is Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, located in Chino, California. The Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church was chosen as the host agency due to the church’s commitment to the values of social justice and service to the Latino community. After researching potential funding sources, the Archstone Foundation was determined to be the most suitable funding source for this program. The actual submission and funding of the grant were not required for the successful completion of this project.
