Lily Parker goes to a regular high school and takes regular classes, but there is a secret about her and a few others in her high school. Lily Parker is a witch. Lily believes that she is her below average witch, all witches and warlocks have one or two defining talents that set them apart from each other. Lily is particularly gifted in potions and herbology, which she believes is not the most exciting or powerful talents one could have. Especially when they are compared to the talents of some.
In this Young Adult novel, Lily struggles with believing that she is broken and weak, when in reality she is far more powerful than she perceives. The Coven is corrupt, a darkness has fallen over it, luring its members with tempting illusions of power. Is Lily strong enough to resist the darkness? Could being broken save Lily in the end?
