Abstract (Summary)

The School Board President Perspectives of Implementing Evidence-Based Funding in Illinois Study provides a look into various factors impacting school districts during the implementation of the Evidence-Based Funding approach to school funding in Illinois. The study examines the challenges and opportunities legislators, school boards and education leaders must take to ensure the Evidence-Based Funding Formula is fully funded for the foreseeable future and the changes legislators, school boards, education leaders and school districts need to implement in order to improve student outcomes.
