The Purpose of writing Evaluating the Effectiveness of The Discover My One Word Journey for Spiritual Growth at Existence Church in San Diego, CA is to examine the effects of The Discover My One Word Journey on spiritual growth. This is accomplished through a Spiritual Life Survey of 54 participants and a Spiritual Life Interview of 10 participants from Existence Church who engaged in The Discover My One Word Journey from January 2016 to January 2019. The results of both the survey and interview show The Discover My One Word Journey did increase spiritual growth at Existence Church and could be a helpful spiritual discipline to aid in the reversal of spiritual stagnation in other churches.
