It is estimated that 20.4% of U.S. adults have chronic pain, and that 8.0% had high-impact chronic pain, defined as pain that frequently limits life or work activities. The current healthcare delivery system for patients suffering from chronic pain in north-inland San Diego County is fragmented. Belay Health’s mission is to relieve chronic pain and restore health, comfort and quality of life in a collaborative and compassionate environment. Belay will differentiate itself in the region because it will coordinate traditional medication management services and pain management procedures, all under one roof.
