The author presents the lack of intentionally trained leaders and intentional community as a problem in ministry for the church at large and specifically Metuchen Assembly of God, NJ. He created an intervention, called the Life Group Leadership Training Program. He recruited approximately 20 participants. He created the Leadership Readiness Scale and used the Likert scale to measure the effectiveness of the training program on the participants. The author discovered that the training program was effective in creating leaders for Life group and other ministries and offered ministry recommendations.
