by Acevedo, Marlene, M.S., California State University, Long Beach, 2018, 60; 10840668
Abstract (Summary)

Family member’s and caregivers struggle with the overwhelming responsibility of caring their loved ones after being diagnosed with dementia. Specialized care for dementia patients at home is often difficult to obtain as resources are scarce and overpriced. While family members prefer to keep their loved ones at home, they are faced with a tough decision to place their family member in a nursing facility due to the not understanding the illness and the inability to provide enough care at home. Thus, resulting in crowded nursing homes and increased healthcare expenditures. Agape Caregivers offers compassionate home care services that focus on dementia care. Their mission is fulfilled by offering a personal plan, home care aides, and educational resources. This business plan outlines Agape Caregiver’s Market Analysis, Feasibility Analysis, Legal and Regulatory Analysis, and Financial Analysis. Agape anticipates significant growth to meet the pressing health care need of caregivers and dementia.
