There is a growing concern for the increase in the prevalence of childhood overweight and obesity. This business plan proposes the establishment of an educational counseling program through a for-profit company. Health & Life’s mission is to provide efficient and educational classes to help children establish healthy habits. The educational programs will help decrease the prevalence of childhood overweight and obesity among children between the ages of 5 to 12 years. The company's goal is to promote healthy choices and active life in the Orange County community. The goal will be achieved by providing individual classes or counseling to children who are at risk or have been identified as overweight or obese. Health & Life will eventually expand the services to other districts and offer such counseling classes to the adolescent and teenage population
