The increasing elderly population and “baby boomers” in the United States make the home health care sector a promising and well-needed entity. Home Healthcare Agencies (HHA) are a solution to the high costs of hospital readmissions ad high utilization of the emergency department. HHA provides the necessary health care services in the setting of the patient’s home, which are often times more convenient and more efficient for patients. This business plan will be exploring very closely the potential for a home health care start-up company in the South Bay area and there is a true potential for success in the home health care market.
