One on One is a collection of short stories that showcases the give and take that comes in a partnership. Some of these stories tell of the tumults of sibling relationships as characters work through defining moments for their families. Others feature the dynamics of newfound friends making trouble on a class trip, enemies stuck together on a camping trip, and co-workers reflecting on their respective futures. Influenced by a healthy dose of young adult literature, One on One is not meant to be a commentary on romantic relationships or friendship in general, but is an examination into the risks and rewards of interacting with another person, whether or not that person’s beliefs or goals line up with your own.
