Abstract (Summary)

Sample preparation remains a critical component of the workflow for an analytical protocol and thus deserves a lot of attention. Featuring the reduction or complete elimination of solvents, and using small-scale devices, miniaturized extraction techniques have been considered a key trend in the analytical science field. This research work aimed at exploration of novel materials as the sorbent for the development of fast, simple and sensitive microextraction approaches. (Abstract shortened by UMI.)
