Abstract (Summary)

The purpose of this grant proposal was for an after hours school program for the Los Angeles Unified School District. The goal of this program is to help Latino children and youth enhance their academic and social skills. To support this thesis, the methods that will help provide these skills, a new structure will be developed during the after hours of school. The grant will then overview its outcomes and successes by the course of 3 years by the results of test scores and surveys that will inquire information about their improvements of academic and social skills.
