Today’s current health challenges primarily involve treating for complex illnesses and chronic comorbidities. A primary focus is to develop quality and comprehensive health practices for the complex needs of the aging population. Managed care organizations that deliver long-term services and supports (LTSS) along with home-and community-based resources are expected to benefit on this foreseeable need for long-term health services. Increased awareness and proper utilization of community-based adult services (CBAS) will provide a well-balanced healthcare approach on the mental, social, and physical wellness aspects of each participant. At Sound Body and Mind Adult Day Health Care, LLC the primary objective is to provide quality, comprehensive, and specialized care to the Alzheimer’s disease and dementia population of Long Beach, California. The overall goal is to unify the community to become involved with preserving and enhancing the overall health of the participants.
