This study consists of a survey of the Apiaceae flora of Lafayette and St. Martin Parishes, conducted from fall 2010 through fall 2013. Most specimens were collected from public areas readily accessible from public roadways. The parishes were divided into sections, and attempts were made to visit each section for collection monthly during the growing season. The purpose of the study was to update current species distribution maps and databases, thereby improving the knowledge base of Louisiana Apiaceae.
