by Ibanez, Javier, M.S.W., California State University, Long Beach, 2014, 67; 1591599
Abstract (Summary)

The purpose of this project was to write a grant to develop a psycho-educational support group for Latino grandparent caregivers whose grandchildren have been placed in protective custody due to the methamphetamine use of their parents. The group is targeted for Latino grandparent caregivers whose adult children are participating in the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services Belvedere Office's Family Dependency Drug Court program. This grant project will be hosted by the California Hispanic Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse's affiliate program A Better Me. The actual submission of this grant to the Annie E. Casey Foundation was not required to successfully complete this project.
