Sun/House/Moon/Mirror is an exploration of methods of addressing the photographic through different modes of working, which takes into account its histories and materials, and aims to find new ways of approaching the picture. The various works that comprise the thesis explore time and perception in relationship to experience and models of representation. Highlighting the constructed nature of the photograph is an attempt to move beyond depiction and consider the materials of the photograph and/or to purpose the photograph as a model of thought.
