This project report outlines the specific ways in which I use musical material and computer processing in my original work Ten Thunders for computer-augmented percussion duo. By deriving both the score and interactive computer environment from the timbral, dynamic, and spatial characteristics of percussion instruments, I create a work for an instrument which is a hybrid of the acoustic and digital realms.
